IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR THE CAMP

** Please be aware that this camp is at capacity and we have only catered to the those individuals that have registered. If you have not registered/know of someone that is not and are planning to attend, please respectfully advise them not too. Our rooms are at capacity and the site has a strict No Swag and No Tent rule. JazakAllah Kheir.
What an exciting time this is! Our leaders and volunteers are preparing for what will be a wonderful adventure for all in shaa Allah. To make the camp preparation and program run smoothly we would like to address a few details.

CAMP DAY 1 – Friday December 15 2023

  • Please arrive at AIC: 9:30AM Latest
  • Departure Time (to campsite): 10:00AM Sharp
  • Departure Location: 23-27 Blenheim Road, Newport VIC 3015 (refer to Map)
  • Where to meet: Back Car Park.

CAMP DAY 3 – Sunday December 17 2023

  • Departure Time (to AIC): 10:00AM
  • Arrival Location: 23-27 Blenheim Road, Newport VIC 3015 (refer to Map)

What should i bring to the camp?

Below is a list of things that you should bring to camp. Please put your name on everything and make sure that you are prepared for both heat and cold, wet and dry. Camp activities continue in the sunshine and the rain.

Bedding

**campsite only provides a mattress. 
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Fitted Sheet

ONLY FOR FULL BOOKINGS. THOSE WHO HAD TO BOOK UNDER THE OUTDOORS FORM, MUST BRING THEIR OWN TENT OR SWAG.

Clothing

  • Waterproof raincoats are essential (nylon jackets, sweatshirts and fleeces are not waterproof)
  • T-shirts
  • Warm jumpers
  • long pants e.g. Tracksuit pants or cargo pants
  • Shorts that cover the knee
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Pyjamas
  • Sun hat 
  • Beanie
  • Comfortable footwear (Must be a closed toe shoe, like a runner)
  • Shoes for water activity (Must have a heel strap to stop them falling off in the water)

Accessories

  • Bathers, Bath and beach towel
  • Personal toiletries (tooth brush, soap, etc)
  • Sunscreen
  • Torch
  • Water bottle (1 litre) with your name on it
  • Small backpack

Meals

AIC will provide the following main meals:

Friday: Lunch and Dinner

Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch

Please bring your own snacks/extra meals/drinks etc.

Do Not Bring!

  • Strictly no tents or swags
  • Jewellery or valuables
  • Pets
  • Dangerous Items

Please be aware that the AIC Bus is scheduled to arrive 11:30 > 12am.
