This award winning 35 minute documentary captures the heart-warming story of East Gippsland’s fire affected communities during the Black Summer fires of 2019/2020.

Considered the worst fire disaster in Australia’s history, the raging inferno burned over 24 million hectares, with an unprecedented fire-front that cut off regional communities from water, food and all essential services.

Help appeared from where it was least expected!

When a convoy of trucks reached the little township of Johnsonville in East Gippsland, the locals were stunned to see members of Melbourne’s Muslim community
offloading tons of supplies desperately required by the fire affected community.

This short film beautifully captures the Australian spirit we all know and love. A poignant story that may move you to tears one minute, and have you smiling the next!
